Tesla is set to expand its presence in Canada by opening its first physical location in New Brunswick. The new showroom will be situated within CF Champlain in Dieppe. CF Champlain is the province’s largest mall.

Although Tesla has not made an official announcement about this expansion, the mall’s website accidentally revealed the upcoming addition of Tesla as one of its featured brands.

According to Drive Tesla Canada, Tesla has rented a 2,274 square foot store in CF Champlain, positioned between Spring and Envy + Young. Construction work has already begun, but there is no Tesla signage indicating the imminent opening of the showroom.

While the CF Champlain website unintentionally disclosed Tesla’s 1st New Brunswick store, Tesla has also quietly announced its intention to enter the province on its Careers website. Currently, there are two job openings listed: one for a Mobile Service Technician and another for Tesla Advisors. Both jobs are located in Dieppe.

The job posting indicates that Tesla is hiring multiple Tesla Advisors for both full-time and part-time positions.

The Dieppe showroom will allow New Brunswickers to see Tesla vehicles in person before making purchase decisions. Until now, New Brunswick Tesla customers have had to complete the order process completely online.

Tesla is also in the process of expanding its Supercharger network in the province. In October, the company announced that it was building a new Supercharger in Miramichi. The Miramichi station will make it far easier to do electric vehicle road trips in the northern half of the province.

Six Tesla Superchargers are currently operational in New Brunswick, mostly in southern areas. Superchargers are located in Saint-Leonard, Woodstock, Lincoln, Quispamsis, Salisbury, and Aulac.
